DERHAM MARKETING RESEARCH’S ADVERTISING AWARENESS SURVEY, 2009. THANK YOU COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The promoter is Derham Marketing Research Pty. Ltd. The food and beverage shops and cafés’ "Thank You" competition associated with an online survey about food and beverage shops and cafés’ and their advertising. The competition is open only the 5,000 women panellists from the First Direct Solutions (a Division of Australia Post) who have been invited to participate in this specific online survey of Queensland women by First Direct Solutions in August and September 2009. To be a valid entry, each survey respondent must have their survey-submitted email address, which will be verified by First Direct Solutions staff as one that was on the initial list of 5,000 Queensland women and the surveys must have been received at Derham Marketing Research Pty. Ltd.’s Melbourne office by 6 pm, Wednesday September 9, 2009. Any entries not received at Derham Marketing Research Pty. Ltd.’s Melbourne office by 6 pm on Wednesday September 9, 2009, regardless of reason for non-receipt, are not eligible for inclusion in the “Thank you” competition. Only one entry per woman is permitted. To be a winner, an entrant must be a permanent resident in the State Of Queensland. To be a valid entry, each survey must have been completed (with at least 60% of questions answered) and must include an email address that matches one in the First Direct Solutions 5,000 women contact list. First Direct Solutions (a Division of Australia Post) will email each of the selected 5,000 women an invitation to participate in the evening of Monday August 31, 2009 or Tuesday September 1, 2009. All those who complete the survey and supply an email address will be entered in the Thank you competition to win one of six cash prizes. The first prize is a cash prize of $250 and the second prizes five cash prizes of $100 each. All entries from women whose supplied email addresses match those on the First Direct Solutions list are eligible to enter and the six winners will have email addresses that match those on the list. If winning email addresses are not on the First Direct Solutions list, an additional draw will be undertaken until all six prizes are allocated to women who have email addresses on the First Direct Solutions list. All winners will be chosen at random, using the RANDBETW function in Excel. The Judge's decision on all matters relating to this contest is final. The judge is Philip Derham, Director, Derham Marketing Research Pty. Ltd. The survey will close at 6 pm on Wednesday September 9, 2009 and the draw for the prizes will be undertaken at 6 pm on that day at Derham Marketing Research's premises at Level 1, 101-103 Union Road, Surrey Hills, Victoria, 3127. After verification of the email addresses as valid, each winner will be emailed an invitation to advise Derham Marketing Research Pty. Ltd. of their names and postal addresses so that their cheque for $250 or $100 can be posted to them. Each randomly selected winner will be posted a Derham Marketing Research Pty. Ltd. company cheque for $250 (one winner) or $100 (one cheque for $100 per winner) by Express Post mail as soon as their names and postal addresses are advised. Surveys may be submitted without the respondent’s name or address details, as entry into the “Thank you” competition is voluntary, but any submissions that lack these details will not be entered into the “Thank you” competition. No winner will win more than one prize and 6 individual participants will win one prize each. Should any winner not claim their prize or supply a postal address after three months from Thursday September 10, 2009 will forfeit their right to a prize and a fresh prize winner will be drawn from the email addresses supplied. Again, after validation as an First Direct Solutions-listed respondent, the woman or women would be invited to receive their prize and this process continued at three month intervals until all six prizes have been distributed. The winners’ first and family names (but not addresses) will be published on www.derhamresearch.com from Thursday September 10, 2009 and will remain there for three months after the draw. Entrants' details will be retained for twelve months after and may then be destroyed. These terms and conditions will be published on www.derhamresearch.com before the survey begins and remain there for three months after the survey’s close date of September 9, 2009. |
